In 1942 Peter Schlumbohm invented "the perfect coffeemaker" - the Chemex. The Chemex coffeemaker is an elegant, one-piece, hourglass shaped vessel made of high quality, heat resistant glass. The extra-thick papers filter all the oils, fats and particles from your coffee, resulting in a clear, pure flavour without bitterness or sediment every time.
