The painted Moka Express is a refreshed version of most classic model made by Bialetti, the world's leading manufacturer of coffee makers. Moka Express is the stovetop coffee maker that in its original that made the Italian manufacturer famous in the 1930s. To this day it is the most popular stovetop espresso maker model in the world, as more than 200 million pots have been produced so far.
How does moka work? The coffee maker constists of a top sealed tank, a filter and a bottom tank. Put ground coffee beans in the filter, pour water into the bottom tank below the safety valve level and connect all the elements. Put the coffee pot on the stove and wait a few minutes. Hot water moves to the top tank, flowing through the ground beans. Your delicious and aromatic espresso is ready!

Nice brewer that works well and is easy to learn, but the amount of finished coffee is not accurate at all. Since the 1 cup barely can be filled with 63ml as it should, it's not reasonable to get much more than 50ml, in my opinion.

Bought a red Bialetti Moka pot and the color faded on the lower part of the water holder after just 3 uses. I filed a complaint and sent a picture of it. I received a response where they argued it was used incorrectly. I have used these pots for many years and never had a problem with them before. No exchange or refund was the result.

They are a lovely splash of colour, especially on a grey morning, and add a dash of happiness to coffee making. It is simple to use and clean, and one feels it is a more environmentally friendly option than pods.
