Chemex base
Based on a previous review, I bought this as a base for my 5-cup Chemex. The mat is slightly larger than the bottom of the Chemex, but it serves its purpose well.

The mat is made of high-quality silicone and collects dust perhaps a bit less than usual. We've been using it as a base for our Chemex, and it's just the right size for at least an eight-cup one.

We're able to sit this right on top of our scale to prevent the portafilter from sliding around. On the smaller side, but perfect for our needs.
