Good tamping mat for small workspace
A well-functioning tamping mat for a small work surface. The raised edges prevent coffee grounds from spreading across the worktop.

Maybe a tad soft, so pointy portafilter spouts may leave dents should you tamp too hard on it. Other than that, exactl what you should expect

The size is both a plus and a minus; if space is tight, this is a great choice due to its size. However, if there is more room, I would personally choose a slightly larger tamping mat, but it does the job.

Small mat, but sufficient for tamping. Indentation for tamp, I actually keep a leveling tool there. The edges prevent coffee grounds from spreading. Silicone is not the most stable material on all surfaces, although there isn't much lateral movement when tamping.
