The Kinu M47 Phoenix manual coffee grinder is equipped with Black Fusion treated and hardened conical burrs of 47 / 32 mm and each, with 4 ball bearings. It is a high-quality and sturdy coffee grinder, allowing you to achieve very uniform grinding results for all preparation methods with little effort.
The Kinu M47 Phoenix coffee grinder has a stepless adjustment with a fine thread (M10 x 0.5) and 50 subdivisions. For each division, you adjust the grinding distance by 0.01 mm.

Light to turn, easy to adjust, grinds quickly. It grinds fine enough to clog an espresso machine and also achieves the right coarseness for filter brewing. I haven't noticed any taste-impacting fines even on coarser settings.
Emptying the ground coffee into a 49mm basket is smooth without a funnel, a perfect match for something like Pavoni and Aeropress.
If a couple of plastic parts don't bother you, I don't see a reason to purchase the more expensive models from Kinu.

Fast delivery. The grinder works. However, it grinds a little too fine for Turkish coffee, even when the coarsest setting is chosen. Grinding requires some force, but it's doable. The container for the ground coffee could be larger. Otherwise, it feels like a quality product after a couple of weeks of use.

Paul NExcellent coffee grinder
The grinder produces extremely consistent results with espresso-aeropress-filter settings. French press grinding works as well. Adjusting is easy and certainly more precise than anyone needs. Grinding is much faster than with the Hario Skerton. I almost couldn't believe how grinding succeeded with half the cranking. The grinder is also quieter than the Hario Skerton and is easier to grind with.
I take off one star for a practical issue: when you remove the coffee container after grinding, there is a lot of ground coffee in the millstone due to static electricity. If you shake the grinder, the coffee grounds end up on the countertop. A small minus, but at this price, even a small disadvantage needs to be noted. Another downside is the small size of the container when grinding for multiple people. However, the grinder is so fast that the process doesn’t take long, even if you need to empty the container in between.
Functional device
Worked as it should. One downside is the manual aspect.

This is an excellent grinder I would definitely buy again. Communication with Kinu is not easy. They did not answer my first email. They did reply to my second email but their factory burned down so maybe that was the reason for a bad response but the grinder is excellent thanks again Crema.
