The La Pavoni Europiccola Lusso is a completely manual, traditional Italian espresso machine. The first version of the machine entered the market back in 1961. Use the La Pavoni Europiccola for making espresso and foaming the milk for a cappuccino.
The La Pavoni Europiccola has no electric pump. Instead, the brewing pressure is created manually by lifting up and pressing down the lever, causing the piston to force the water through the coffee. You have full control of both the extraction time and the brewing pressure in order to get the desired result. The espresso machine also has a milk frother for preparation of cappuccinos. Europiccola features a 0.8 litre water boiler, and it takes about 5 minutes to heat up the water for your first espresso.

I like it
Stylish retro machine. Making a perfect espresso with this requires some practice. This simple device demands more from the user than other machines, but perhaps that's the charm that intrigues. So it might not be suitable for those who want the easiest possible experience. On the plus side, there are accessories and spare parts available for this.

I bought the product because it has been on the market for a long time and is relatively mechanical, so it shouldn't have failed on the fourth use - the pressure came out as steam from the safety valve and no coffee was made - the device is now returned and we'll see how the complaint is handled
