M.S.A bit disappointed
I ordered a bag of these beans out of curiosity to see if cheap beans were any good. However, I did not expect the roasting date of the beans to be over a year prior to the purchase date. Needless to say, there was hardly any crema. The aroma was quite sharp, cognac-like, as was the taste. I will not order again, as coffee over a year old is definitely not worth the price.

When ground, it smells like nuts and old wood, but when made with a moka pot, it's a pretty decent coffee. Strong, slightly bitter (still didn't add sugar), and balanced. Good aftertaste.
