Motta Corner Tamper Mat
This large size tamper mat from Motta folds over the table corner, enabling tamping the portafilter on the edge of the table.
The mat is 24 cm wide and 16 cm deep, offering a lot of space. The mat has higher edges, keeping the ground coffee on the mat. The mat is made in Italy out of food grade rubber, and it has a separate slightly deeper place in the corner for the tamper.

Sturdy mat
The tamper mat is a good size and sturdily made. It stays in place. The edge flap fit perfectly on my kitchen counter - on a thinner tabletop, it might catch if there's a drawer underneath.
Functional mat
Saves the table and doesn't slip. Easy to clean by rinsing with water. Note that rubber products can cause yellowish staining on light-colored plastic surfaces (e.g., kitchen laminate countertops). This is mainly a problem if left in the same place for a long time.
