Passalacqua has been my all-time favorite, bag after bag, both in regular and decaffeinated versions. Gold Vulcan has become the 'must-have in the cupboard' coffee among these versions. It's a coffee that is simultaneously rich, softly rounded yet possesses the dark softness of Neapolitan style, with a rounded honeyed nuttiness that makes it fully mouth-filling and strong, without being bitter. A powerfully rounded rich coffee blend. Always a reliable choice, where each different blend offers a 'must-have' home coffee that you can turn to like the comforting embrace of a favorite blanket.

Perfectly suited and especially enjoyable as a short espresso, also works in milk-based coffee drinks (Latte & Cappuccino), although in this case, an additional 10% Robusta bean would be appropriate, as the blend contains 70% Arabica. A strong and aromatic coffee, Passalacqua is my favorite roastery.

An all-around good coffee: good mouthfeel, velvety crema, nuanced, and spicy. The best of these three. The Neapolitans know their stuff! We will be ordering more of this coffee.

I have to consider whether this Gold Vulcan is actually the best espresso I've tried, a new 'bench mark'.
A strong, full-bodied taste without any gimmicks. The long aftertaste lingers in the mouth for a long time.
A small downside: the grind result varies with conditions or whatever, so that with the same settings, the coffee's flow ranges from slowly clogged to quickly flowing through.

Absolutely incredibly smooth and velvety! The taste lingers in the mouth for a long time, but it's not as smoky as Mehari. I recommend it!
