Conflicting coffee scale
I struggled for a long time between three and four stars, such a conflicting experience this is.
Pros: sufficient accuracy, the timer works simply in the style of click to start, click to stop. Clear, bright, and easy-to-read display. Battery lasts a long time. Feels sturdy, not flimsy to handle.
Cons: occasionally, the scale's tare drifts +/- 0.1 grams, sometimes even +/- 0.3 grams if left on long enough. This is not the end of the world, but sometimes very annoying, especially at this price point. Registers 0.1 gram changes with a strange delay, which makes you question the advertised 0.1 gram accuracy when it comes to the scale's sensitivity to changes in mass. Surfaces get scratched very easily.
Despite its shortcomings, it gets the job done and no espresso shot has been ruined because of it.
