The CAFEC ABACA Coffee Filter Paper is made by the non-wood material ABACA (Manila hemp) and wood-pulp based on a forestation project. It has good air and liquid permeability, toughness, and elasticity. Of course, it is made in Japan.

I was looking for a "fast" paper for those long draining lighter roasts and African beans. And I think I found it. In my very brief experimenting, these are on par or tad faster than the unbleached Misarashi brown papers from Hario. You get some sediment from them sometimes, but nothing crazy. I like them!
