The Cafelat Robot Regular is a lever-style home espresso maker. By pushing down on levers, home brewers build up pressure inside the portafilter, dispersion screen, and basket. It uses few parts, no complicated electronics and only premium materials like stainless steel. All the parts for coffee are completely plastic free!
The water and coffee only contact stainless steel, a food grade silicone piston seal and a food grade silicone top pin of the filter screen. All components are tested for food safety. The main body is made from die-cast aluminium and powder coated but does not have any contact with the water or coffee.
What you need to make espresso
All you need is ground coffee, some hot water from a kettle and you are all set. The whole process is simple and takes just a few minutes - no need for any capsule machine and less plastic waste for the landfills.

Excellent
The device works excellently. Its operating method allows the user to seamlessly (using hand power) adjust the coffee to their preference. Lucaffe mr. Exclusive provides a good taste and rich crema in the Robot maker. It's an expensive machine, but worth the price. The silicone gasket might need periodic replacement. One spare gasket was included with the device.

I needed a small manual machine for my second home to make decent espresso. To my surprise, with this and the 1zpresso grinder, I get coffee as good as with my Olympia Cremina. It works faster, and keeping the machine clean is easier. It doesn't froth milk, but if you're making 1-2 shots at a time, it's absolutely top-notch.
Additionally, it's fun-looking and very well-made.
Robot
Very easy to use and does the job well. Good weight and doesn't take up much space. Of course, you can make it fancier if you find some handmade parts.
