Cloer 5928 Electric Espresso Maker

Great (International!) customer service, Fast delivery and good product quality.

A Winner.

+++ Reliable. Easy and quick to clean. Good-tasting espresso. Doesn't take up much space on the countertop.

No disturbing factors, but I'll mention anyway:

- A tiny amount of coffee is left in the reservoir every time. The size of the moka pot (especially the water reservoir) is rather large compared to the amount of coffee it brews.

Great customer service!

The employees at Crema are fantastic - I live in the US and was unable to find a suitable coffee pot with 110v so ordered this, which is EU 220v. Crema emailed to make sure I had ordered the correct item, having noticed my ship address was in the US. They also wanted to make sure I understood I would need a voltage converter. Most companies would have just sent it on, regardless. Thank you, Crema! Also, the coffee pot is great. I'm very happy with the quality. The three or six cup option is very useful and it brews beautifully - I highly recommend.

Cloer 5928 Electric Espresso Maker

Functional, safe device. It is difficult to see the amount of water, but a measuring cup easily solves this small shortcoming.

Moka pot

You can smell the coffee from afar and the taste is excellent

I love brewing coffee this way and now I don't ruin the stovetop.
Simple and convenient, great coffee.

Moka Pot

Very well made! &Great!

Cloer 5928 Electric Espresso Maker

Otherwise a perfect device, but there's a small design flaw in the coffee spout, a little coffee always remains in the pot. However, it's significantly nicer to use than stovetop pots. The 3/6 cup filters in the same pot are a good feature!

Great

It makes fine coffee. Very hot! Keep in mind that there are three parts that need to be cleaned for each brew - the base, the filter section with the coffee, and the pot itself.

I usually make three cups when I need some. There are measures for six cups as well.

Delicious and practical coffee maker.

I am incredibly satisfied with this moka pot that never boils over.

Good coffee, convenient brewer

This electric moka pot saves time and is safe. Great for busy mornings. Easy to clean. The coffee is aromatic. Highly recommend.

Works as expected

Handy and easy to clean

Very good

Perfect, I've been looking for one like this for a few years. The water measurement is hard to see, but it's easily fixed once you learn how much water to pour.

Good coffee

Easy to use and clean.

Cloer 5928 Electric Espresso Maker

The coffee has been quite good, but dark roast coffee suits best, not decaffeinated coffee.

Easy to use and portable

Convenient and easy to use and clean, and thanks to being electric, it can be taken almost anywhere. Using the filter coffee maker has become quite rare after getting the moka pot. :)

Functional, no stove needed.

A Moka pot that works with the convenience of a coffee maker. When the heating element of my previous pot of the same model stopped working due to old age, I got another one of the same model as a replacement. We have another one of the same model at the cottage, and we can't do without it.

Money wasted

I once had a Rommelsbacher espresso maker and the difference in quality is astounding. I haven't managed to get anything usable out of this yet. Of course, it's only the fourth bean/roast and I've adjusted the hand grinder about six times, but it stayed in the cupboard all last week.
The design and usability of this product are also quite poor. The top edge of the water reservoir curves downward inside, meaning it can't be cleaned thoroughly. Filling the coffee grounds is a juggling act because the grounds container is on a spring, ensuring half goes elsewhere. And if you grind the coffee coarse enough so that the pressure relief valve doesn't wake up the entire open office, you can be sure the result goes down the drain.
Cleaning is a wait. While similar non-electric ones can be quickly cooled under running water, this one patiently waits.
If someone in the corridor would buy this from me...

Espresso Maker

The electric espresso maker is quite convenient as you can leave it to brew coffee without needing to keep an eye on it.
The pot itself looks good and the handle is sturdy enough.
However, the pot seems unnecessarily large given the amount of coffee it produces.
There is a lot of empty space both at the bottom and top. Unfortunately, the coffee is weaker compared to non-electric 'moka pots'. The issue with the De Longhi electric espresso maker is
that the plastic transparent top and/or lid cracks from the heat after about a year of use. The coffee is significantly stronger than with the Cloer pot.

A really good Moka pot.

I have been using this Moka pot for a couple of weeks now and the experiences have been very positive. I have previous experience with both a regular Moka pot and an espresso machine.

Compared to an espresso machine, this is naturally much smaller and easier to clean. Of course, a Moka pot cannot make real espresso, but this device can brew very good coffee.

Compared to a traditional Moka pot, this is more hassle-free because the electric device makes the coffee automatically, and you don't have to watch over it. It's also easier to get a consistent result, and it doesn't leave water in the bottom part like a traditional Moka pot does.

The Moka pot is stylish in appearance, but the steel exterior is also a slight downside: the exterior gets extremely hot! The instructions warn about the heating, and you should definitely take heed.

The pot also has a few features that improve usability. There's a spring in the filter section which makes it easier to remove the filter after use. Additionally, the exterior has marks that show you how far to screw the upper part. So you can't accidentally screw it on too little or too much. Having two different sized filters is also a great idea.

All in all, this was quite a great purchase and definitely worth the price. Naturally, I can't say anything about the durability of the device after such a short period of use.

Easier-to-use Moka pot

We were considering different options among various espresso machines. There are capsule machines, grinders, latte makers, and all sorts of things. I always get frustrated when in Finland there's this constant push of the "one true" (Paulig) coffee and devices. I don't buy them!
Previously, we used a Moka pot but didn't want the mess on the stove. Through a friend, we were familiar with Crema's great coffee selection and found this excellently functioning "next-generation" Moka pot. Its best features are its easy filling, easy use directly at the breakfast table, and the fact that you can move it to another "coffee table" without a separate tray because the base of the pot is cool plastic.
Excellent pot, I recommend it!

Cloer 5928 Electric Espresso Maker

A convenient and worry-free device that saves electricity.

Convenient moka pot for the office

We considered different capsule machines but based on the advice of an Italian colleague, we ended up with this one. The decision was good; the maker is simple and functional, and it's particularly nice that you can brew either 3 or 6 servings at a time.

Cloer 5928 Electric Espresso Maker

Flexible and fast service! The pot itself makes good coffee. At least at the beginning, we failed a few times, apparently because the parts weren't quite aligned even though they looked like they were. There was just a lot of steam coming out. But now we already have many successful brews behind us. Easy to use and no need to keep an eye on it.

Espresso Maker

The coffee maker is quite okay, exactly what I wanted. The only 'drawback' is that it's difficult to see the water level marking, i.e. how much water is needed for 3 or 6 cups. But I've managed well, and the coffee maker meets my needs. It doesn't take up unnecessary space and isn't overly 'flashy'.

Cloer 5928 Electric Espresso Maker

Very practical and functional product that operates on its own and delivers tasty coffee.

Moka pot!

An electric moka pot is now in daily use. More convenient and easier in the mornings than the stovetop ones, you can leave it to brew on its own. The coffee turns out really good.

Cloer 5928 Electric Espresso Maker

The product has met our expectations

Best purchase in a long time

I have been looking for this product for a long time and I am very satisfied with it. The delivery was fast, just as promised.
