Funky Matcha Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder is a finely ground green tea powder for preparing traditional matcha, matcha lattes and other matcha drinks.

For traditional matcha, whisk the powder with hot water until smooth and frothy. For a creamy matcha latte, combine the prepared matcha with your favourite warm milk. You can also use cold milk and ice to make a refreshing iced matcha latte.

Ceremonial grade matcha is particularly suited to drinking as matcha with water, but its distinctive green tea flavour also works beautifully with milk. Unlike regular green tea, matcha is made using finely ground tea leaves, so the whole tea leaf is consumed.

How to prepare:

Add the recommended amount of matcha powder to a bowl or cup. Add hot water and whisk until smooth and frothy. Enjoy as it is, or add warm or cold milk to prepare a matcha latte.

Tip: Avoid using boiling water, as very hot water can make the flavour of matcha more bitter.
