This Colombian Geisha coffee from Good Life Coffee comes from Eduardo Anacona Ossons’s farm, Finca La Colorada, in the Huila region. The coffee is balanced, clean, and elegant. The flavour features honeydew melon and carambola, a light floral note, cashew, and cherry sweetness. Instead of a traditionally intense and floral Geisha, La Colorada offers a milder and more approachable taste experience.
Finca La Colorada is located in the hills of Villa María in Íquira at an altitude of 1,650–2,100 meters. Eduardo began growing coffee with his father at the age of 12 and acquired his own land at 22. The farm mainly grows the Castillo variety, as well as Geisha on small, carefully tended plots.
The coffee cherries are picked and processed on the same day. After fermentation, the coffee is slowly dried in parabolic drying beds for nearly three weeks.
