Good Life Coffee Ruera PB Washed, Kenia 225 g Coffee Beans

This Kenyan Peaberry coffee from Good Life Coffee comes from Ruera Estate in Kiambu. The juicy and nuanced coffee has a gooseberry-like acidity, sweetness of pineapple, and a liquorice-toned aftertaste.

Ruera Estate is located at an altitude of 1,577 meters on volcanic soil. The coffee varieties grown on the estate are SL-34, SL-28, Ruiru 11, and Batian. The coffee cherries are hand-picked and processed using the washed method. The estate is committed to sustainable coffee cultivation and employs over 1,000 people.

PB, or Peaberry, means that only one seed develops in the coffee cherry instead of the usual two. The small, round beans are sorted out and sold as a separate coffee lot.
