Single Origin

In many ways, the Pereira sisters symbolize the new generation of coffee producers in Brazil, using innovative processing methods to produce exceptional coffee (techniques derived from the wine world). They took over the farm from their father and then renamed it to Irmãs Pereira, meaning the Sisters of Pereira.

The freshly picked coffee is allowed to dry in its skin, which allows for a controlled and soft type of fermentation that gives a soft and round coffee with a character of chocolate, hazelnut and caramel. The body is powerful yet soft.

Customer reviews

A bit bland

I bought the product thinking it was dark roast. In fact, Gringo Nordic's products don't fall into any category in the search, not light, not medium, nor dark roast. It beats Juhlamokka, but lacks fullness.

Sweet and aromatic

I'm new to the espresso hobby, so this might not be the most nuanced review you will read. But, that said, I was able to achieve great tasting espresso with these beans. Sweet with some vanilla&bourbon notes and very nice aroma. However, it doesn't work that good for milk drinks, as milk tends to overpower it. I would suggest this coffee for espressos and probably americanos, not so much for lattes or cappuccinos.

Pleasant coffee

A really good coffee when made with a Clever Coffee Dripper. You can enjoy this without milk. Would order this again.
