Gringo Nordic Organic Etiopien Guji Hambela Decaf 250 g Coffee Beans

Gringo Nordic Guji Hambela Decaf is an organic decaffeinated coffee from the Guji region in southern Ethiopia. The coffee comes from the village of Dimtu Tora, where the Hambela Wamena washing station was established in 2022. The area is characterized by lush forest, small-scale farming, and coffee trees growing in the shade of native trees.

Natural decaffeination with the EA method

The coffee has been decaffeinated using the natural EA method (Ethyl Acetate), in which ethyl acetate produced from sugarcane is used to remove the caffeine. The process reduces the caffeine content by at least 97% while preserving the coffee’s natural flavor and aroma.

The result is a decaffeinated specialty coffee with the clean and lively character that is characteristic of coffee from Ethiopia.
