Gringo Nordic Guatemala Las Gardenias Pacamara is a naturally processed coffee with a full-bodied, flavourful profile. The large-bean Pacamara variety offers distinct notes of dark red fruit, muscovado sugar, ripe blueberries, caramelised orange and toffee.
Finca Las Gardenias
Finca Las Gardenias is located high in the mountains of Guatemala, surrounded by well-preserved natural scenery. Protecting the surrounding environment and landscape is an important part of the farm’s operations.
Careful harvesting and slow drying
The coffee cherries are picked at optimal ripeness and laid out to dry around four hours after harvesting. During the first five days, the coffee is sun-dried between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and turned every hour to ensure even drying.
The entire drying process takes approximately 22 days. The coffee is then stored in clean bags until it is ready for onward transport.
