Beautiful and practical
Beautiful and practical for mixing matcha. The double wall keeps the water warm during whisking and the outside cool, and the glass lets you see the color — which is the single best indicator of matcha quality. The capacity is generous compared to the serving size, which is exactly right for whisking: the chasen has room to move and the liquid does not splash. The spout is useful when making a latte — you can pour the concentrate neatly into the glass on top of the milk foam.
