A chemistry set? -No, it's not! It is a Hario Technica Syphon coffee maker, a unique device for coffee brewing in a really impressive way.
Coffee brewing may look like a scientific experiment. This is the case. But don't worry, the siphon is an extremely simple device invented at the beginning of the 19th century. Technica combines beautiful workmanship, minimalist design and amazing functionality! The syphon works using the basic laws of physics. Fill the lower chamber with water which, when heated, flows to the upper chamber with ground beans. After a few minutes, disconnect the heat source and your coffee will flow through the filter into the lower chamber. It is ready!

The vacuum coffee maker, familiar from my childhood (used on the stove back then), is a beautiful device and looks so intriguingly technical that the coffee enthusiast in the family is in seventh heaven when handling it at the start of our joint coffee moments. Easy to use, yet looks very futuristic and makes coffee brewing an exciting, yet calm joint "show".
