The Kalita KH-10 coffee grinder has a cast iron core and burrs with a nice wooden body. The burrs have a conical shape that ensures a consistent grinding result. The grind size can be easily adjusted by turning the adjustment screw.
The grinder can grind to different levels of fineness ranging from semi fine to coarse grinding. We recommend it mostly for use with press pots and drip coffee makers. The grinder sits well in your hand thanks to its round shape.
The body of the grinder is made of rubberwood, which is a very sturdy and low-maintenance material.

Convenient coffee grinder
I searched online for a hand coffee grinder and among the available options, I chose this one because the price/quality ratio seemed good. After receiving the grinder, I have been very satisfied. The grinder is convenient and just the right size for my use.
K.A.Pretty but requires minor improvements
Pretty coffee grinder that grinds "regular coffee" enough for a Moomin mug with one full load of beans. Due to its size, it fits well into tighter spaces.
The knob on the handle (which is unscrewed to adjust the coarseness) tends to loosen with use, but it can be "braked" with a rubber strip or O-ring crafted in between.
Also, the bean input hole is quite small, meaning the beans tend to fly out sometimes.
I could recommend this for smaller grinds every now and then, precisely because of these small flaws.
Learning by experimentation
Only by experimenting can you learn to grind the appropriate coarseness with this. I like that it is made of wood and that it doesn't take up too much space in our cramped kitchen.

Easy and good grinder for beans. The container is the right size as you only need to grind 1-2 containers of beans as needed. The finish is good, adjusting the grind is easy.

Suitable grinder for me for grinding espresso. Grind size is easy to adjust.

My first manual grinder. It works well for what it does and costs.
- Sense of mediocre build quality, the parts are solid and well screwed together, but for example, the wood is only brown on the outside while the inside is light, and the rubber foot underneath is mounted crookedly. We'll see how long it lasts.
- The inside is also unpolished/untreated, there was some sawdust in it when I opened the package.
- The screw that holds the handle in place slowly loosens while grinding, so you need to tighten it again every day.
+ Stepless adjustment. Admittedly, it's not intuitive how to adjust but it was easy to figure out.
+ Even grind, as far as I can see.
+ Just the right size and reasonably easy to hold when grinding, even though the semi-glossy surface means the hand can slip a bit, there is a rubber foot underneath that gets a fairly good grip against surfaces.
+ Just the right size if, like me, you usually make one cup at a time.
Robust grinder with a smooth finish :)
We use this grinder in combination with the ROK manual espresso maker. At first we were a little bit skeptical if the grinder was able to produce a good espresoo powder but so far it defnitiely seems to do its' job! We even have crema on top of our espresso's :) The grinder feels robust with a smooth wooden finish. Very happy with our purchase.
