The Kinu M47 Simplicity manual coffee grinder is equipped with Black Fusion treated and hardened conical burrs of 47 / 32 mm and each, with 4 ball bearings. It is a high-quality and sturdy coffee grinder, allowing you to achieve very uniform grinding results for all preparation methods with little effort.
The Kinu M47 Simplicity coffee grinder has a stepless adjustment with a fine thread (M10 x 0.5) and 50 subdivisions. For each division, you adjust the grinding distance by 0.01 mm.

Kinu M47 Simplicity Coffee Grinder
This manual grinder is very sturdy and smooth to use with lighter roasts as well. Adding a little brush in the carrying case would improve it further.
CoenSturdy and grinds well
Good grinding experience and nice result. A bit messier than I expected, though, with some leftover ground coffee remaining near the mechanism.

Antoncollection cup is not optimal
Grinds easily and effortlessly. For my small hand, the thumb stopper works well, the grinder doesn't slip in my hand. The static nature/inner ridge of the plastic collection cup is somewhat bothersome when pouring out the grounds from the collector.

This is a fantastic grinder. As my first hand grinder I must say that grinding can be quite a physical experience - but wouldn't blame the M47, which I think did a good job at making the experience as smooth as possible! The only con is he plastic container at the bottom which feels slightly precarious at times.

Kinu M47 Simplicity Coffee Grinder
Definitely a well-made product. But it is also relatively expensive.
I don't have much to compare it to other than cheap electronic grinders, this one is more consistent and can also grind finer than them.
However, electronic grinders obviously have the advantage that it's easy to grind a lot, while with a hand grinder you should expect to use it for 1-2 cups at a time at most.
When I grind 16g, which I think is suitable for one cup, it takes me somewhere between 30 seconds and 1 minute to grind at a grind size of 10-20 clicks (https://honestcoffeeguide.com/guides/coffee-grind-size-chart/ for reference of grind size).
The design makes it very simple to both fill with beans and get out coffee as well as to change settings, while the weight and the grinder make the grinding easy.
That said, the weight (~1kg) might be a problem for those who want to use it on excursions.
I definitely think that this is a lifetime purchase for those who are interested.

Very good grinder for espresso. High precision in adjustment. Very good quality feel. However, it requires a firm grip when grinding, so it is not suitable for those with weak hands.
