Kouvolan Lakritsi liquorice pieces represent authentic Finnish liquorice tradition. The recipe dates back to 1945 and was perfected in 1960 by the British liquorice expert H. Knoch. The result is a classic liquorice where both flavour and texture are just right.
The soft and rich liquorice pieces are perfect to enjoy as they are or as a sweet accompaniment to coffee – exactly how liquorice should be.
Ingredients
Wheat flour, water, sugar, sugar syrup, food-grade molasses, natural flavours (liquorice extract, aniseed oil), salt, colour (E153), emulsifier (E471), acidity regulator (E500), preservatives (E211, E202).

Very tasty sweet liquorice, perhaps the best!
The only thing one could criticize is the packaging (which is a nice bag in itself). The bag is sealed with a plastic clip, but it is not completely sealed at the top. Why leave the bag open when it is sealed anyway, except for a short section in the middle at the top?
