Makea Coffee Dragon Tears is a Gesha specialty coffee from Costa Rica, roasted specifically for filter coffee. The cup offers notes of nectarine, jasmine, and gummy candy, complemented by juicy sweetness, a clean flavour profile, and a velvety mouthfeel.
Gesha is a highly regarded coffee variety originating from Ethiopia, known for its low yields and exceptionally aromatic, multifaceted flavour profile. Dragon Tears showcases the variety's finest qualities with vibrant fruitiness, elegant floral notes, and a long, pleasant finish.
The coffee is ideal for pour-over brewing. To highlight its sweetness and floral character, try brewing with water at around 88°C, a slightly coarser grind size, and a brew ratio of 1:18.
