An odd bird in the coffee world
This coffee was confusing in itself. All the notes mentioned in the product description can be distinguished in the taste and aroma (with subtle dark chocolate/cocoa beans being by far the most prominent), yet despite that, the coffee tastes... well... like coffee. In other words, this is a very coffee-tasting coffee. Character? Coffee. Special features? Coffee. Taste? Coffee. Roast? Coffee.
Despite its coffee-ness, this coffee is ultimately just coffee and does not stray from its neutral existence in any direction. It neither delights nor disappoints. I will not buy it again, but not because it is bad; rather, because most other coffees have something that sets them apart and draws you back to them. However, if you want to taste coffee that tastes very much like coffee, this is the coffee for you!
