Passalacqua Cremador is a dark roasted espresso coffee with a lot of character roasted by the Passalacqua family roastery in Naples. The coffee contains, besides Arabica coffees, also 30 % Robusta for a stronger espresso experience. The use of robusta gives a rich, full-bodied crema on top of the espresso.
The taste is pleasant and balanced with clear nuttiness. The coffee is available as ground coffee in 250 g packs (2 different grinding degrees for mocha pots and espresso machines), as well as in beans in 1 kg bags.

Very tasty and strong dark roast coffee. The grind is suitable for a moka pot, but it was also good when made with Hario V60 filtration.

We tried this. Compared to Mehari, the aftertaste was more chocolatey, but in our blends, the difference was not significant. So, very good, but not quite worth the price.

Quality coffee
Very good on its own with the moka pot - not too bitter. There is a bit of mustiness in the aftertaste, but otherwise quite a balanced overall flavor. If I find myself not wanting to grind Paska, I will gladly enjoy this ready-ground Cremador :)

I tried the blend, even though I usually only use Arabica. The crema wasn't particularly thick. The strong bitterness of the coffee was too dominant for me.

I initially bought Passalacqua Meharia and was really positively surprised. After I ran out of beans, I decided to order more Passalacqua beans to try.
A slight disappointment. I couldn't get a drinkable espresso at first, until I increased the amount of the dose from 18g to 20g 1:2.
The mouthfeel is smooth and strong. Nothing else, the taste doesn't linger in the mouth like in Meharia, and there's no smoky flavor or really anything else.
If you like really strong and smooth espresso and want a good caffeine buzz right in the morning, these beans are for you.
