Nice and fast, but the screen is meh
So just like the title says — the scale is quite fast, faster than that built into the Wilfa Uniform, and it's quite noticeable. Buttons are 'real' rubber buttons, no touchscreen. Power is two-way: either 2xAA batteries (included) or USB-C which is not mentioned in the product description I believe. A USB-C to USB-A cable is included, although it's quite short (30 cm or so I think).
The only problem with the scale so far is the screen. It is crisp and backlit but it has quite narrow vertical viewing angle so when I'm brewing a pourover and I stand close to the counter I can't really see what's going on — I have to take a half-step back to see the number on the screen. If you're brewing sitting it will be fine. Also, the screen itself could be a little larger but that's okay I think.

A very good and precise scale, responds to changes quickly, and can easily weigh both small and large quantities. Excellent value for money. Convenient that the display only dims and does not turn off completely during cooking.

JPScale feels of good quality
The scale has been in daily use for a couple of weeks now. It shows the same gram readings as my older kitchen scale, which measures with gram precision, but this one, of course, also displays decimals. The portafilter fits well on the platform. The scale doesn't annoyingly turn off between weighings but goes into sleep mode, turning off the bright backlight. The device stays in sleep mode for, if I remember correctly, three minutes, and this can be adjusted, although I haven't found it necessary.
If looking for any negatives, the scale is slightly slow to respond to the smallest weight changes (0.1 - 0.2 g), in which case I've lifted the item being weighed and placed it back on the platform. This has usually 'alerted' the scale to changes.
Let's hope for plenty of use for this scale! It seems promising!
