Requires skill

The grinder is quite small on its own, so the adaptor is definitely needed. When connected to the AeroPress, the grinder becomes twice as long, making it easier to brace against a chair in your lap. Achieving a fine enough grind requires strength, and I find mine is somewhat unevenly distributed. I struggle with holding a piece in one hand while drilling, and this is somewhat similar. The crank has a hex key attachment, which initially makes it odd to align. Of course, the container adds a little more surface area to the grinder and attaches more securely than the AeroPress. In practice, you have to dump the grind into the container from the AeroPress and portion it back. The container is so small that it never even occurred to me to use it at that stage. A funnel is also needed for dosing the beans, perhaps it would be good to include one.

Handy grinder

Does what it needs. Slow like other small grinders.
Being metallic, it's slippery in hand. It's worth putting some rubber to prevent slipping.
The coarseness adjustment gradually loosens while grinding. I solved it by putting a lock nut to secure it.
The AeroPress adaptor is unnecessary.

Grinds well, good value for money.

So-so

Works okay. The grind size setting tends to shift a bit after each use and often needs to be checked for position. I often grind coarse at 1.5 turns. The result is quite mixed and not as homogeneous as I would like. Okay result but not great. I've thrown the adapter away. When you attach the grinder to the AeroPress with the adapter, you have to hold both the AeroPress, the adapter, and the grinder for it to grind. Otherwise, everything wobbles apart. It's too inconvenient, so I grind with the 'cup' and pour over.

Compact travel grinder

A compact yet efficient grinder suitable for travel. The storage bag conveniently keeps the parts together during trips. The adaptor might be a bit over the top, as you can easily pour the ground coffee into the AeroPress without it.
