Westmark permanent reusable coffee filter for making filter/drip coffee without having to use traditional filter papers in the coffee maker.
The permanent coffee filter is made of dense metal mesh and plastic, which can be washed by rinsing with hot water and occasionally washing with dishwashing liquid by hand or in a dishwasher.

The filter is too coarse, lets through sludge.

This steel filter gives the coffee a milder and rounder taste, as paper filters remove these good aromas and it's easier to compost the coffee grounds.

I've had a similar filter at the summer cottage for at least 10 years.
Works well
Note that it doesn't filter quite as well as paper filters. Besides that, it's a very convenient product!

I previously bought a permanent filter, and it has worked extremely well with daily use. I have now bought similar ones as spares for both home and the cottage, because the product is no longer easily found in many places.

Fits well in the Moccamaster filter funnel, though a bit tricky to clean as the grounds easily fall onto the floor when tapped against the edge of the trash can. Paper would crumple easily but this does not, as long as you remember to place it upright and don't accidentally throw the funnel in the trash.

Suitable for use with a Moccamaster
It's an okay filter for its price. It lets the finest grounds through as metal filters often do. It also slightly alters the taste of the coffee.

So far, I am really satisfied with this filter, the quality feels incredibly good and I also find it very easy to keep clean. The icing on the cake is that it fits my Moccamaster. No more disposable filters, good for the environment and the wallet!
