Excellent coffee brewer after a steep learning curve
Great colour and quality from aeropress. Obviously not different to any other aeropress and therefore great coffee brewer after some learning time.
T.F.Very handy!
Very handy to make coffee and tea, quick to clean and nice to be able to see inside!
T.A.Stylish Aeropress, quality issues noted.
The appearance pleases my eye much more than the older dull gray Aeropress. However, there has been a strong decline in the quality or its control, and the price has correspondingly increased. Pouring marks and scratches are naturally more visible in the clear material, so one would have expected quality control to have improved since the price is higher.
In my press, there was a clear scratch along the entire length of the cylinder straight out of the box, which should have been caught in quality control. I didn't return the product because it doesn't really affect functionality or the taste of the coffee.
Additionally, the funnel and filter holder familiar from the older Aeropress are missing, and the number of filters has been reduced. I didn't notice any difference in the taste of the coffee compared to the old Aeropress. Considering the general decline in quality and the reduction of accessories and filters with the increased price, it's quite hard to recommend this, especially if you already own an older model. If you're getting your first Aeropress, it depends on how much you value appearance.
Not really an upgrade, but it was different for me!
Being visually handicapped, this was a nice upgrade from my earlier Aeropress, since it is slightly easier to see the numbers in certain light - for those times when one should be precise rather than just "pour it in by eye". So no complaints, even if the manufacturer is meaner with the number of filters you can get in the packet [and no funnel] but a price rise. I can't blame Crema for that though.
