The new Baratza ESP Electric Coffee Grinder is designed to provide consistent and precise grinding for espresso and other brewing methods.
Brewing Methods
The innovative multi-purpose adjustment mechanism features micro-steps from #1-20 for high resolution espresso grinding, and macro-steps from #21-40 suitable for filter brewing methods.
Dosing Cup & Adapter
The 54 mm dosing cup (and included 58 mm adapter ring) make it easy to transfer grounds directly into a portafilter for less mess and an even distribution that's ready to tamp! Fits most home espresso machine portafilter baskets.
Motor
A powerful, high torque DC motor effortlessly drives the burrs. This motor turns slowly resulting in cool, quieter operation, and permits long grinding duty cycles. The circuitry is equipped with an automatically resetting, thermal cutoff switch.
Quick-Release Burr
The burr mounting system has been redesigned to allow for quick removal without taking the entire grinder apart. That means it’s easier than ever to clean and maintain the Encore ESP without the need for extra tools.
The hopper, burr holder, and cone burr can be removed without additional tools for easy cleanup and maintenance.

very precise grind
This is my 2nd Baratza grinder, (my old one is for 120 currency). It is quite smooth and quiet compared to my older model. I am still getting the adjustments right, but it is definitely very precise, click by click. SO far, great!

After a week of use I would say that the grinder works well both for espresso and filter coffees, however the quality of the plastic and how it's made could be better. Everything is a bit flimsy. Also it is as messy as other machines.

After a couple of weeks of use, it seems to be a good basic grinder. Quite loud and some coffee always remains inside when grinding, but these features were known at the time of purchase, so it doesn't really bother me too much. Time will tell how it holds up with use.

Great product.
On the loudiness level, every morning at 5AM i turn the grinder on to give me fresh coffe and not even one time i have eoke up any of my family members with the noise.

Initially had some retention issues, where a whole gram disappeared into the machine; something I've read others have had problems with as well. But if you let the grinder run a bit longer and then give it a little bump at the end, most of the coffee comes out (about 0.05-0.10 grams retention). Quite acceptable considering the price, in my opinion.

Great coffee grinder. Probably the best in this price range. Not too loud, eat too use, does the job well, and container for ground coffee firsts 54 mm porta filter, which I didn't expect! :)

Great machine! Good grinding speed and quality. Not too noisy for me(some reviewers had a different perspective).
Very solid build quality for the money. Sturdy as a steel beam, but it's plastic! I just wish it came with the Single Dose Hopper as it seems damn near impossible to acquire in Estonia. With that minor inconvenience aside, 10/10 deal!
Works as expected
I watched kany reviews of different budget grinders before buying and this one seemed to stand out. I am happy with the grind quality. The machine tends to be a bit messy but it's ok, I'll just be more tidy then.

I loved the fact that you can have access to all of the parts and the interior to tweak as you like and I've read reviews that say that Baratza customer service is amazing.
