The CAFEC ABACA Coffee Filter Paper is made by the non-wood material ABACA (Manila hemp) and wood-pulp based on a forestation project. It has good air and liquid permeability, toughness, and elasticity. Of course, it is made in Japan.

Good filter
I don't notice a difference compared to regular Hario V60 filters. I bought them to try because I heard that Hario filters had changed and I wanted to test this recommended alternative.

Quite fast and transparent filter. Only issue is that compared to other Cafec filters they are a bit flimsy - so be careful when rinsing them - they have not broken but just collapsed a few times and messing with steaming hit filters is not a joy.
