The blend has no indication of roast level on the pack? That's strange. In reality it is highly overroasted - beans are dark and even oily. Smell and taste is not good at all at least in prosumer espresso machine (Lelit Elizabeth with Eureka grinder). Do not recommend.

Over-roasted beans
This is my second time purchasing these coffee beans. The first purchase was excellent and I decided to order it again. However, unlike the first time, the coffee beans were poorly roasted. The beans seemed to be over roasted, oily and there was a burnt taste to it. Hence, I had to discard the entire packet.

I tried this 3 times over the past two years. It is good but I find it too weak (same ratio as I use with others), unfortunately, you can buy better and cheaper coffee at local grocery stores.

I'm not very fond of dark roast coffee, so this review is quite colored by my subjectivity on the matter, but there's still something to say even for those who like their coffee really smoky.
This is probably the smokiest coffee I have tried. Certainly not the smokiest available for purchase, but still. From the moment I opened the package, I had a bad feeling. It didn't get any better after grinding. I brewed a pour over with a ratio of 65g per 1000g water. It amounted to 15g of coffee for 230g of water.
The taste is very interesting, unfortunately not in a positive way. I get notes of motor oil, cigar uncle, and old hat. I imagine this coffee tastes pretty much like V-Gurra's smoke lounge back in the 50s. If you lean towards more lightly roasted or medium roasted coffee and are interested in actually tasting the coffee, I wouldn't recommend this.
However, if you have a relative you don't like and need to buy a gift for them, or if you don't like coffee and want to punish yourself in some masochistic way, this might be a good idea.
The best coffee I've ever had
The coffee is very good. Even a person who usually uses milk in their coffee said that this can be drunk even without milk.
