The 58 Plus requires a full brewing kit of accessories to ensure top performance.
At a minimum, brewers with the Flair 58 Plus must have:
Espresso capable, high-quality burr grinder – Brewing espresso on the Flair 58 Plus is a work of art and science. It’s impossible to dial-in your espresso extraction with inconsistent grounds. As such, it’s required to have an espresso-capable burr grinder to use with your 58 Plus. Expect to spend at least $150 and look for a unit with stepless grind sizing.
High-quality kettle – While a temperature controlled kettle is not required for brewing with the Flair 58 Plus, it will definitely make your workflow and experience more enjoyable. At a minimum, target a kettle with a thermometer so you can be precise with your thermal inputs.
Digital Scale – Any scale will do, but for repeatable results, both your inputs and outputs should be measured. This includes for dosing your beans, measuring the output in your cup as well as flow rate.

Shipping was fast and the price/quality was excellent. The only negative note is the packaging that needs improvement, the box of one product arrived broken... luckily it was only the box inside, everything is healthy or so it seems. Only time will tell if something is broken.

Amazing machine, even though there were initial difficulties. For example, I screwed the pressure gauge on too tightly, so it didn't work, but we managed to sort it out.
This 58 is also sensible because all existing equipment fits it well. For example, the tamper included in this package is a joke, so I've used gear I acquired earlier. Otherwise, the package is a good set, and this latest version of the Flair also fixes many quirks compared to the previous one.
The power cord and temperature controller are quite toy-like, but otherwise, the machine is made of heavy metal and looks good in the kitchen.
A good grinder is definitely needed. My Sage grinder pro managed just barely but easily got clogged when it needed to grind very finely.
When I got the Eureka Libra, everything became easier, so yes, the grinder has a big impact even with this machine.
