This washed filter coffee from Good Life Coffee, from the Timaná region in Colombia, is approachable, balanced, and full-bodied. The flavour offers ripe plum, red apple, and sweetness from brown sugar. The coffee works well on its own, but also handles a splash of milk or a plant-based drink.
Timaná is located in an area surrounded by the Andes and the Magdalena and Golden rivers, whose conditions give the coffee a balanced and nuanced character.
The producers of Timanco coffee are small family farms from the Timaná and Tarqui areas. The farms are 1–5 hectares in size, and often the whole family takes part in coffee production. The growers have developed the quality of the coffee by improving processing, fermentation, and drying, as well as by investing in wet mills and drying areas.
