The coffee for Nap Queen is cultivated by 50 small-scale farmers in Colombia’s Huila region. After the coffee is gathered, the caffeine content is reduced.

Decaffeination
The decaffeination process is called the sugar cane process. Ethyl acetate, which is obtained from fermented sugar cane and also occurs naturally in some fruits, is used to remove caffeine. Once the caffeine has been soaked away, the coffee beans are rinsed, steamed, and dried before being delivered to the coffee roastery.

Sophisticated Decaf Coffee Blend
The name itself, "Nap Queen," amused especially the women. A very sophisticated and gentle, light yet full-bodied coffee blend. Refreshing may not typically be part of a barista's vocabulary, but even that crossed my mind while contemplating this very sophisticated and velvety coffee blend flavor profile. I recommend it to all lovers of refined flavors!

First time without caffeine. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it's quite mild and I didn't get that 'ahh' reaction. Was it the lack of caffeine or the coffee itself, I don't know, but it's better than a bad caffeinated coffee.
